I've been doing blogging for years now, and a lot has changed, plus my knowledge of the subject has also grown

I go through a lot of resources. You know, I watch YouTube videos. I listen to a lot of podcasts

I read a lot. I do a lot of different things to try to keep myself versatile on everything that's going on in the SEO slash blogging area

Yeah. And with that, I've changed my mind on some things, and I kind of want to go through and let you know if I were going to start a site now, the things I would do differently

one of my biggest things that I decided to do when I got started was I wanted to have a huge

category of different websites. I wanted to try some, see what works, what doesn't, and kind of go

that route. Would I do that again today? I shouldn't. Having too many websites spread you way

too thin. And by doing that, you cannot blast as much content that you need to get going on a main

site. And I got pretty lucky with my R.C. Ride-on cars because the niche was not competitive when I got

into it. And it did very well. And it kind of, you know, made me a little lazy with my production

Because I'm like, oh, this is all I got to do to get a site going is 100 blog posts. And then it's, you know

getting over 60,000 views a month? Great. But unfortunately, the other sites haven't been that

route, and I haven't been able to focus that much because I have over 10 websites. I have so many

websites. I've even closed some down recently, but there's more that I have. What would I do differently

I would build one sites, and I would take it to the next level. I'm currently still working on

some sites. I'm mainly focused on two sites that I have. One that's not disclosed, that's just like a technical slash hobby site, and the other, which is wild fog, which I have everything on on this channel, as you know

Then I try to fix my RC ride-on site from time to time, and by doing that, I learn more and more about everything

The thing is, if you find something that you're not doing on a site and you want to implement it, it's not so easy because now I don't have to fix it on one site

I have to fix it on over 10 websites. It's too much

And you'll start doing it, and then all of a sudden something else will come up, and I might fix it on some, but not on others

And then, you know, you go to the next thing, and before you know it

you're just constantly backpedaling, trying to catch up. So going forward, what I would do is just create one website and get going

and pretty much put it all into that. now I would do your research about creating a website it's not too hard to create one you know I have

once I pick it before I write a single article I would have a full silo created I would get all

the topics I would need all the keywords I would have them all mapped out in Excel spreadsheet, I would have at least 500 keywords for articles done

And which silos go with which silos are basically kind of like big categories kind of pointing

to each other, if you will. And that will help the site as well. I would also add that into the URL

link. You don't want to do this retro if you haven't done it, but if you can add the subject, the silo

that at this point. So that's another reason I would want to go through and go back and do it that way

With my silo and my keyword spreadsheet all set up I would then pick two or three of the silos and get writing My writing style would be probably my own and I would try to get the right people for my blog I also have my own writer which he could write for me as well He still does

You know, they are getting, I have multiple sites over like 2,300 views and up. So I probably have like five

sites like that or more. But the thing is, if I would have just had one site, I could just power

through, focus all my energy on this one, and create it. I would also create a brand around it

and I would crush it on Eat. I've learned a lot about Eat working with Kyle Roof and his team

you know, through working with Pop and everything like that. And I've fixed it on my R.C. Rideon site

pretty well. Unfortunately, the changes have not reflected yet, but hopefully they will soon

But I understand Eat a lot more listening to Kyle and working with him and getting audits through his service and everything

So I understand the way to target Eat, and it's a lot of work. And I think adding it to all my sites just, you know, across it, I think it hurt me

because each site kind of you want to have your own thing. And I think by doing too many at once would not be great

Maybe if you really are worried about Google updates and everything like that

once you get established and you're making, say, $1,000 a month, maybe start a second one and do something

some here and there, but you're hurting yourself because if you don't get hit with a Google

update, all those articles you're throwing on that second site could be time that you put in

on your main site. So make sure your topic is broad enough to continue to handle articles and

you can just keep going. I am really feeling this lately and I so want to just go ahead and

invest in a new site, but that's kind of killing what I'm saying. You know, I could retro do one of

just babbling, but if I did it all over again, one site's the way, master it, and then make your

next site, make it even better. Master that and then keep going. When you run out of those keywords that

you've created, then maybe start a new site. If you're earning enough, you can hire someone to just

continue to handle that and post articles for you. I would also like to do original photos. I don't do it

because the Rydons are so expensive. I do have some of them, and I've used their pictures many of times

but, you know, it's tough when they're like $500 to $1,000. Now, the fog machines, there are still some expensive ones

The thing is I'm never going to use the fog machines. And I don't want to be one of those people that buy it and return it, you know, just after using it

That's not what I want to do to Amazon. Getting the machines is a good idea to go through and do real reviews because Google's going

products, but not products that are like five or ten dollars, you know, around the $100 to $200 area

There's just one, yeah, you could probably get some in there, but if there's multiple websites

you're going to want to really look for that niche. I think it's really hard to find that area

where you're looking for the products of a certain amount, but if you're going to be doing Amazon

you're going to need a niche where you can actually purchase the products and do reviews and maybe get away with just buying one or two and using it across multiple areas For me I have fog machine repair stuff so when I do buy one I going to have to rip it apart

because there's no pictures of people doing that. And if I could do that, that would really help with the originality of that photo and that article

I've taken some photos by myself on one of the articles I've done on an iPhone once

and in the last helpful content update, that flew up. So Google noticed that I had original photos, and I went through and showed step by step

You know, fog machines, they're kind of interesting. They're not that bad. But I have some websites where I'm like, I don't want to write that

And I'm like, I just don't want to write about this. Why did I pick that? I mean, I got a really good domain name and I was like, that domain name's going to kill it

But, you know, it's a boring subject. And if you are not excited to write about it, it's not going to work

You need to have something, which makes it harder because usually the more interesting niches are already covered

Again, with my articles, I would make them so in depth with so many pictures

If I could have five or six pictures per article, I would like that

Currently, I'm using one picture in most articles, and it just doesn't do very well

You add more pictures, you get more people on your page spending more time, enjoying your content

and I'm noticing that more and more because the articles that I did go through and load up with some pictures do much better than the one

that just have one at the top. So I think pictures are really underestimated

Let's talk about monetization. I would also not rush monetization. Don't rush to get your 50 posts done to or 20 or 50 to get approved through Google

I think when you hit around the 50,000 views, I think that's when Google says

And I think that's what happened to my main site when it got hit through Google because I didn't

So these are the things that I recommend at this time knowing what I know. Of course, I'm just, you know

I'm sure people are wondering about AI. Will I be using AI? I'm going to use AI less on my main

sites and more on the sites that I'm kind of testing. Like helpfultotorials.net, that's a good

site that doesn't get much traffic. It's, you know, it's been around for a long time. I have a

YouTube channel dedicated to it so I can make my own videos. So with that, I will use more AI content

because if the site gets hit, it doesn't really make much of a difference because it's already

not bringing in much traffic at all. However, since I've been adding the AI content, the traffic

has been going up, which is really nice. I have some affiliate products on there, which are basically

VPN and site hosting, and I think those will increase. I'm slowly seeing more and more people click

and if I can get some desic traffic, that could really bring it up

I think VPNs are important, so it's nice to have them. Maybe more people will purchase them as I write articles on them

It's also extremely competitive, but when you have an AI service like one of the two that I recommend

they can produce articles a lot quicker. I can pump out 75 to 100 articles in a month
