In this video, I'm going to show you a step-by-step guide on how to find easy keywords with
0:04
AHRFs that'll rank in 2021. Hey, everyone, I'm Kevin Smack. And if there's one thing I know is finding keywords for SEO, there are infinite opportunities
0:15
when it comes to keyword research, but most people don't take advantage of the best ones out there
0:21
In this tutorial, I'm going to show you how to use AHRF to find the best long-tail keywords for
0:28
your SEO needs. So come along with me as we go through each step together and make sure not to miss anything important
0:36
If you haven't used age ref, it is a paid tool. However, there is some free nice features on it
0:43
I would definitely sign up. Basically, it can track your stuff for you
0:48
It'll track a few projects a month and it's free. Now, if you want to pay, it does do more stuff
0:55
What we're going to show you today is something that is paid. However, you do get a seven-day free trial for, I believe, it's $7 or $1. Someone can comment
1:06
let me know for sure, but it's seven days and it's pretty cheap. After that, it's up to you if you want
1:11
to continue to use it. The low plan, which I'm on, is $99.99. So $100 basically a month. I'm going to use
1:20
it for this month, and then I'll cancel for a few months until I need it again, and then I'll
1:25
reactivate it. What I basically do is when it's activated, I just grind out and get everything I can
1:31
In the future, if I start making a real lot of money, then I'll probably just keep it active so I can
1:36
continue to use it. But I'm not there yet. So let's go ahead and show you how I get keywords from here
1:44
It's not that difficult and it's a great little secret that a lot of people don't know
1:49
I would do it with wild fog, but unfortunately the domain is just too new and there's not enough out there
1:55
I mean, I only have six articles on it, and it's maybe a month old, not even
2:01
So we can't really show you on WildFog. So what we're going to do is show you on my music site, which is Stream Lofi
2:07
The actual articles are not that old on here either. They're probably about two months, but we do have enough information because the site as a whole has been around for a long time
2:17
And Google knows what it's about. And now that I've added blog posts, it knows more
2:23
So streamlofi.com is where you can find my music, which is copyright-free, commercially available too
2:30
So if you ever want to use it in a video, feel free. You'll never get any copyright issues with it
2:36
Now that we know that, let's go ahead and we're just going to click on organic keywords just to get us over to where we want to go
2:44
So now we're in Site Explorer, and this is where I do my research for keywords
2:49
And what I like to go into is competing domains. So let's go ahead and choose competing domains
2:56
As your site ranks up has more articles, this will get much more specific
3:02
And it'll get really nice and really help you out. So these are domains that HRF thinks are similar to ours and hence competing domains
3:11
In this area, you're going to see yellow. That's how many keywords they have
3:15
And blue is how many keywords that are similar to us that we use together
3:21
So there's not going to be a lot because like I see. said, I don't really have a lot of posts. I have 10 posts all together on this site. This one's
3:28
1-800-lawco or whatever, and this one's Christian Copyright Solutions, Safe Music List. Some of these
3:36
sound very similar. They sound like they're pretty decent, and what we're looking at is
3:42
keywords unique to target common keywords common keyword percentage and keywords unique to competitor So the keywords unique to competitor means they are currently ranking on those keywords
3:57
So we can see what keywords they're ranking on. So what we're going to do is choose one here
4:02
Let's go with safemusiclist.com. I'm just going to open this in another window
4:07
And I always pop it open in another window. It just makes it easier
4:11
So now I'm over here, and we're looking at, what they're ranking for. It's going to be organized by volume. So the biggest one is first
4:20
obviously, YouTube music free. And it shows the keyword difficulty, how hard it is, and the highest
4:27
position, which this is 87. So this website, when the keyword research was done, I was told this is
4:35
really tough to get into these keywords because they're very competitive. And looking here, I'm seeing a
4:42
94 and 84. Of course, a lot of that's marked YouTube. But you can see they're really, really high up
4:50
We're going to go ahead and dig deep and find which ones to get
4:54
But these are their keywords. So now we're just going to look and see which ones work
4:59
So if we go through quickly, you could see there is a lot of high word, keyword difficulties
5:05
So let's just stop right there and not go through this because we're a new site
5:10
So we could probably hit keywords maybe up to keyword difficulty 20
5:16
So why don't we go up here and click keyword difficulty and we'll put actually 15 because I think that's a high one
5:26
So from zero to 15. Now the list regenerates it with just keywords that are difficulty of 15 or under
5:34
So easier keywords. This is what I'm looking for and this is where the sweet part is
5:40
So now in this plan, you only get, I believe, 100, but what happens is you can go through the list
5:47
and when you get to the bottom you can change this. Maybe make a keyword difficulty 10
5:51
and then you might see another 15 or so at the bottom. And you can keep changing the search terms up here
5:57
just to kind of game the platform, I guess you could say
6:01
and get more. Going through here, how to avoid copyright on YouTube
6:05
That sounds pretty good, and it's only a 7. That's pretty nice
6:10
So that's something we might consider. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to open up my trusty notepad here
6:20
And we'll go ahead and copy this one. Thirteen hundred and I'm going to put keyword difficulty seven
6:29
Because I want to know what age ref thinks it is. Now I'm not taking their keyword difficulty 100%
6:36
If they say it's seven, okay, it's probably about a seven. but I want to make sure that it is
6:43
So I'm still going to research to see if these keywords are obtainable. Well, let's continue
6:49
Royalty free versus copyright-free. I believe we already have a keyword like that
6:53
Funny Christmas videos. It's really not copyright-ish. I do not own the rights to this music
7:01
I believe I have that one too. Let's see what else we have
7:05
Copyright-free Christmas music. How to tell if a song's copyrighted. I believe I have most of these
7:11
I'm going to bring up my list real quick so I can actually see which ones I have
7:16
All right, I'm back and I actually was a little off. So I do have things so similar, but they're not actually this
7:25
Keyword Difficulty 14, royalty free versus copyright free. Royalty free versus copyright free, that's a good one
7:32
And it even better because I know the answer to that Royalty frees when you pay for a subscription and copyright free means it just automatically allowed
7:44
I do not own the rights to this music. 800 search and I love to see the big goose egg, the big zero
7:54
That's always awesome and I got to capitalize the eye because it'll trigger me if not
7:59
And let's continue. A copyright free Christmas me. Okay. I had something similar with Christmas, but it wasn't that 15 so that's top of my range
8:09
I'd tell if a song is copyrighted. Yeah, we could do this
8:18
700 you know it's pretty good. I don't own the rights to this music
8:25
you know I have something similar to oh we have this one up here
8:29
but I do have one similar so I'm just going to put a star there
8:35
I'm going to have to research that one later on my own sometimes there's something so similar like this is how to tell if a song is
8:42
copyrighted how to check if a song is copyrighted it's very similar
8:46
so I usually try to cluster these and they're right after each other so it's not
8:51
really a big deal I could do that really easy right here in a spreadsheet I would
8:55
just go ahead and like highlight these all yellow just so that I
8:59
know they're together. And then maybe I could do one article and I could like title it this
9:04
And then inside of it, I could put this in here. So I kind of like trigger two keywords and one
9:10
article. Kind of like clustering keywords, if you will. It's something I like to do. But it's also
9:16
something I'm new at and I've been trying out. So still not awesome at it. I have something with
9:22
Facebook already. Music video credits. No, I don't think that's what we're looking for
9:29
I edit a YouTube video that's not yours. I know how to do it, but do I want to write an article on it
9:37
I don't know, that's a pretty big one. I guess let's put it down and look at it later
9:46
Royalty-free holiday music. So this could probably go near the Christmas music
9:53
even though it could be different holidays. We'll still cluster that together
9:59
Now remember, we are still only on the first competing domain, and we're still pulling in keywords that are 350, 400
10:09
Now, some of these are a little tough, but like I said, this niche is not a real easy one
10:14
There's some low-hanging fruit that we're going to take care of, but it's still going to be a while until it gets built up
10:20
And I'm in no rush, because it's a music site. You know, I generate some money off of Spotify when people listen to the music, which is cool, and it's a nice
10:29
to keep it going and almost self-sustainable. I mean, I might have to put a little extra money into it, but not much
10:36
Pretty much only new music is where it's going to be. Transition sound effects, this is something I do not have because it's a music site
10:43
so we're not going to do any of the sound effects. No copyright Christmas music
10:50
I feel like that term is like so tough. Any time you say no copyright, it's like
10:58
really rough. So how to copyright a video? That's good and I don't think I know how to do that
11:10
We'll just put it there. Ten's not too bad. Epic royalty free music
11:15
That's a service. They're actually not bad, but they weren't for me
11:20
Ooh the wedding one I might need that one Let me see if I have anything about a wedding I don So royalty wedding music though I would think copyright wedding music would be better I
11:49
how to make YouTube play this private. Well, that's pretty easy, but I don't know if that really gets into our area
11:58
You need permissions to cover a song. 15. That's on the top of our range
12:03
Now we're at the bottom, but we actually have 100. So we're going to change this to 100. Add audio to YouTube video
12:09
That's something I should type. That's something I should add, even though it's something that I don't really want to do
12:15
Like I could tell people, but it's not the easiest thing to go. go through. Music videos out of music. No. Royalty-free hold music. Not royalty-free
12:26
How to You Know If a Song's Copy-ray. We already got that. How to upload a video on Facebook with
12:30
music without copyright. Oh my goodness. That's a long one. I think we'll leave that one alone
12:36
Classical music in commercials. How to see if a song is copyrighted. Have that
12:44
Okay, so now we're at our end of our page. And the search volume's 150
12:49
So I feel pretty confident with saying we've done enough. But if we wanted, we could just look down here and the bottom one is 150
12:59
Okay. So we can go up here. We can change the keywords and we can put this
13:04
We can put the nine. Now it's select it. And now we're going to have so many more
13:09
So 150. This is where we were about where we were at
13:14
All right. So now we could go and see if there's any other ones here
13:19
We can continue to do that and continue to lower it and get even more
13:25
I had to edit video to avoid copyright. That could be too many different things
13:29
So I had a root of a copyright claim on YouTube. I don't think I want to go after that one
13:36
That's how I do it. That's how I get keywords after the sites have started
13:40
First, I use Carl, keyword care.com. I get keywords from him, and I keep buying them until he can no longer
13:49
find them and then I go and use this method because by the time I'm done using all his
13:56
keywords I should be ranking enough to have some competing domains and find some good stuff
14:02
Of course the more blue I will get in here the better I'll match up and the better will work
14:08
So feel free to give it a try if you like. It's just a hrefs.com. Not a referral. They don't
14:14
even have a referral program, but they are one of the best tools you could use nowadays
14:20
and I do highly recommend them over things like Semrush. I do like Surfer SEO as well
14:26
but for this, I like this right here. This is really nice how it does this. Surfer SEO has
14:34
some other ways to find keywords, but it's different. They do the keyword clusters
14:38
which I really enjoy as well. I do both find what you like, and hope that works out
14:44
for you. You have any questions? You can leave them down below. If anyone knows the answer
14:48
feel free to answer them. I'll do my best. Like I said, I know this tool, but I don't, I'm definitely
14:54
not an expert, and there's a lot for me to learn. I just know this because I found it somewhere
15:00
and I never let it go because it's such a good way to get keywords that other people aren't
15:05
targeting, but they're getting by mistake, basically. Of course, you could also find ones they are
15:11
specifically targeting as well. Hope you enjoyed and thanks for the view
